After drooling over many images and YouTube channels I began to understand what I was wanting in my Tiny Home. I'm a creative person and spend most time at a desk drawing, designing, typing etc. Since I spend all that time at a desk, I wanted it in a prominent place. I toyed with the idea of having two lofts, one for the bedroom and one dedicated to my desk. But then I break up my time with loo breaks and countless coffee breaks. I wouldn't want to be going up and down the stairs too often. Also I knew I wanted a view, what better way to see than 180* views. As for the Kitchen I wanted ample room to move and also plenty of light and windows. I didn't really like the idea of a bathroom closing off one end of the space either. I also knew I wanted somewhere outside to grow herbs and possibly veggies. I thought why not on the roof so I played with the idea in my head for some time and came up with the roof top terrace. I began putting my ideas down on paper.
